These are the best ways to earn money from your YouTube channel.
1. AdSense Payment
This is the most common and the money you make will be small.
Once you’re monetized on YouTube, you’ll start earning dollars from Google AdSense every month.
This is good money, but it is usually small compared to other means of earning on YouTube.
If you hang all your hope on AdSense payment, you’ll be broke and frustrated.
You must see it as one of your sources of income on YouTube, not your major source of income.
2. Affiliate Promotions
You’ll make more money by recommending products/services in your videos and leaving the links in your video description.
You make videos about products and services and recommend such products or services.
You get a unique link, insert the link in your video description and publish the video.
If anyone watches your video and makes a purchase via your link, you earn a commission.
In April 2021, I made 3 videos about Expertnaire and I inserted my unique link there.
Those videos still generate income for me till tomorrow.
Something I did since last year o. No extra effort. That’s called Passive income.
3. Sponsored Video
There are 2 types. Dedicated video and Ad-roll.
Companies pay you to create videos for them or insert their video in yours.
Once your channel does well, brands will contact you to create a video about their products or services.

4. Sell Digital Products
This is one of the coolest ways to make money on YouTube once you consistently offer value and build a community.
Digital products will always put money in your account even while you sleep or travel.
In September 2021, I created a low-ticket course.
That course still generates income for me daily.
People watch my video on YouTube, click on the link and purchase my course.
What a time to be alive.
5. Offer Coaching/Consultancy/Mentorship
This is one of the coolest ways to sell your expertise and make money without lifting a finger or spending a time on advertisement.
Now, I do not offer mentorship.
I offer coaching and consultancy and it’s been an exciting journey.
Coaching is not cheap, neither is consultancy.
People will not pay you for any of these until you have proven yourself worthy.
If you want to make money from coaching and consultancy, you must pay it forward first.
What I mean is that you must invest in people.
You must be interested in people, helping them grow and become better.
You must become a person of great value.
Your results should speak for you.
Your network of influence should speak for you.
Your charisma should speak for you.
Once people know you have the substance they’re looking for, they’ll pay you to access your substance.
For starters, I’ll advise that you focus on affiliate commissions and digital products.
For example, if you publish 10 videos in a month and have a total view of 40,000 and you have a course that sells for $5. Let’s assume your video converts at 1%.
Video views: 40,000
Course price: $5
Conversion: 1%
40,000 x 1% x $5 = $2000
Now you see how easy it is to make this money when you work with numbers?
First, you must know your numbers.
Then you break the numbers down, have a detailed plan, and work on the plan.
Will it be easy? No!
