StarTimes Customer Care

In using the StarTimes decoder, app and during payment for our subscription packages, we might encounter issues, and that’s where the customer care line comes in handy.

StarTimes has a dedicated customer care unit that’s ready to answer all your questions in relation to their services.

Social Media

No Channel Received

Make sure your indoor / external antenna is well connected.

You can also change the position of your indoor antenna or increase the height of your outdoor antenna.

If the problem persist call any of the hotline numbers and a service agent will be assigned to you for further assistance.

No Signal

Make sure your indoor antenna is well fixed and placed.

Adjust it around your TV SET till you get a signal, if problem persist, you are required to get an outdoor antenna (Yagi Antenna preferably).

If you are using an outdoor antenna (yagi Antena), and still having No Signal, visit any of the business outlets or call any of the hotline numbers and a service agent will be assigned to you for further assistance.

No Service

Kindly follow these steps:

  • Adjust your antenna till you get a signal.
  • Embark on AUTOMATIC SEARCH >>> Click on the MENU button on your remote control.
  • Scroll to SYSTEM SETTINGS and press OK.
  • In the list displayed, scroll to AUTOMATIC SEARCH and use the right arrow key to navigate to the YES and NO option.
  • Select YES and press OK.

Call any of the hotline numbers and a service agent will be assigned to you for further assistance.

No Access / Not Subscribed

This simply means your subscription has expired.

Recharge by using any of these methods:

  • Buy a recharge card from BHs or dealers and follow the instructions on how to recharge at the back of the recharge.
  • Through Mobile Money account (StanbicIBTCMobileMoney – *909#), and Pocket Moni, MTN (coming soon).
  • Quick Teller websites and ATM.
  • Bank Recharge.

Smart Card Not Paired or Wrong Pairing

This is when a smartcard is mismatched or wrongly paired with another decoder.

Please visit the nearest business hall or call the hotline.

Decoder Fails to Power

Check whether the power plug of the decoder is correctly inserted into the AC 220V power jack – and whether the switch of the decoder switches on.

If well connected and problem persist, visit the nearest business hall or call the hotline.

Auto Rebooting

This is when a decoder continues to come up and go off immediately, mostly when a decoder cannot upgrade itself.

Visit the nearest business hall for assistance.

Visit the nearest business hall or call the hotline for assistance.

No Audio / No Video

  • Check whether the antenna is correctly connected to the decoder.
  • Check the audio and video cables of the gateway and TV. It must be video out – video in, audio out – audio in).
  • Ensure that the TV is in the AV mode. For TVs with more than one (1) AV setting, please select the right AV setting using the correct port on the machine (TV) and the same selection on the remote control.
  • If (a), (b) and (c) are fine, then suspect the AV cables are in use. Try a new cable.

  1. I subscribe to Nova Bouquet last week (03/11/2023) for Nova Bouquet twice and was successful. But my Startime TV with in built decoder is displaying E507: No access(0) – Not Subscribed. on DTT channels.
    SMART CARD NO 02721952477.

  4. Hello I recharge two months for classic on Saturday I e not been able to view any stations the message please recharge is showing all over the stations.

    This is very unfair. Treat as urgent.

I just subscribed for one month this morning (03/09/2023) and I received this message “SuccessPaid 2100.0.SmartCard 02027734529.Bouquet DTT_Basic MonthFee: 2600.Estimated Stop Date 2023-09-19!” The ESTIMATED STOP DATE as stated here is just few days not up to one month,pls, rectify.; +2347062625552

    1. I subscribed to Nova bonquest on Friday and go successfully am hv been watching it since that day, but today the thing just change and keep saying I should recharge again please wat the source of the problem pls
