1. National Diploma (ND) in Nursing

The National Diploma (ND) in Nursing is a diploma program that provides foundational education and training in nursing.

Requirements

• Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• The candidate(s) presenting the NABTEB result may not combine it with other results.
• Be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.

Method of Application

• Get the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) form and sit for the examination, to enable successful candidates to regularize your admission status with JAMB as soon as they are admitted into the OAUTHC Schools of Nursing.
• Choose OAUTHC School of Nursing, Ile-Ife as your first choice of institution.
• It is compulsory for the interested applicant(s) to register for these four (4) courses in your UTME form online, namely: English language, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
• Score a minimum of 180 marks in JAMB.

Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2024/2025 Session

Post-UTME Screening Exercise will hold for candidates who passed UTME entrance examination and made School of Nursing, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Osun State as your first choice of institution, or those willing to change your institution and make the School of Nursing OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Osun State, your first choice for the approved programme.

• Ensure you upload your O/Level results into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal and choose School of Nursing OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Osun State as your first choice of institution.
• Successful candidates are to register online by accessing the institution’s website to complete and submit your applications.
• They are expected to relogin back on REPRINT web section and print the screening schedule in two (2) copies of the application form after submission and come to the school for Post UTME screening at the scheduled date given on the printout form.
• Payment of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only for the Post UTME screening exercise.
• Portal access fee of Six Thousand Naira (₦6,000) only.

Mode of Post UTME screening exercise includes Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the physical presentation of candidates.

The closing date is Friday, 18^th October, 2024.

Date for Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Computer-Based Test shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee between Tuesday, 22^nd October 2024 and Thursday, 24^th October 2024.

2. Post Basic General Nursing

Post Basic General Nursing is an eighteen-month programme.

Closing Date

The closing date is Thursday, 22^nd August, 2024.

Test and Selection Interview

• Written Test – Tuesday, 27^th August, 2024.
• Oral Interview – Wednesday, 28^th August, 2024 and Thursday, 29^th August, 2024.

Requirements

To be eligible to study nursing at the OAUTHC School of Nursing, possess these qualifications:

• WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Be a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Candidate(s) presenting NABTEB result may not combine it with other results.

3. Post Basic Midwifery

This is an eighteen-month programme.

• Possess registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

• Possess registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

OAUTHC School of Nursing Cut Off Mark

The OAUTHC School of Nursing cut off mark for the 2024/2025 academic session is 180 for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This means that candidates who score 180 or higher in the UTME are eligible to apply for admission to the OAUTHC School of Nursing.
