  • The programme is a 4-year course for students that enter the programme through direct entry and begin from 200 level.

Admission Requirements

Successful applicants are required to present their annual license at the point of screening, and those who haven’t renewed their license have to show evidence of payment for the renewal when coming for screening.

ABU will also require applicants to pay ₦5,000 for verification of their license with the nursing association.

3. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Online Nursing Program

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the undergraduate Distance Learning Bachelor of Nursing Science Programme (ODL) of the Centre for Distance Learning, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

In line with the newly approved curriculum of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Programme by the Senate of OAU, all Direct Entry students on the Programme will spend four (4) academic years.

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must be registered nurses by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (RN/RPN/RM/RPHN).
  • Applicants must possess SSCE/GCE certificates (or equivalents) with credits in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • The subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
  • Candidates shall be invited for oral interview and/or screening exercise.

Duration

The programme is for four (4) academic sessions.

Application form and method of application are available only online (apply.oaucdl.edu.ng).

4. LAUTECH Online Nursing Program

Applications are invited from qualified candidates into the ODL Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in the Open and Distance Learning Centre of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess at least five (5) ‘O’ level passes of credit level to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Method of Application

  • Application forms are available online on payment of application and computer training fee of ₦12,500.00 only.
  • Candidates are expected to register on the centre’s website (lodlc.lautech.edu.ng) by completing and submitting the online application form.
  • In completing the online application form, candidates are required to upload a scanned passport photograph with a white background showing ears, no cap and no glasses.
  • The scanned passport photograph must be in JPEG format (i.e., jpg) and must not be more than 20kb.
  • On submission of the application form, candidates are to print out referee form.
