Here are the steps to audition for Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9:
- Stay natural, don’t force it, keep it fun!
- Make a 3-minute video as a dynamic duo (together or separate); but it must be a single video.
- Upload your video according to the audition details.
- Ensure you use a very high-quality phone camera to make the video attractive enough for the panel to watch.
- Hold the camera firmly to avoid a blurry video output and if necessary, you can record with light to ensure your video is not dark and your face is well seen.
- If you notice any error in the video, you can quickly edit it or redo another video to stand a better chance of winning the audition.
- Once you are done with the video recording and editing, log on to africamagic.tv/bbaudition to fill out the online registration form and upload your video.
- If, in reviewing your form, any inconsistency in your BioData or deliberate withholding of information that is very relevant to your personality is noticed, you may be disqualified from the selection process.
- It is important to also note here that if you apply for the reality TV show audition, you will need to grant the organizer of the event to conduct civil, criminal, medical and other types of background check they deemed fit.
- If you are selected for the next phase, you will be contacted via email. So, make sure your email address is correct and check your email to see if you qualify.
- All selected applicants would receive an email notification if they have been selected for the next phase of the audition.
- If you do not receive an email by the stipulated date, you have not been selected.
- If you are selected by the Producer for an interview in the Semi-Finals, you must travel to Lagos at a time as scheduled by the Producer in its sole discretion for the final selection process. The economy travels and hotel accommodations will be arranged and paid for by the Producer/Organizer.
- You must live in the Big Brother Naija house in Lagos with approximately a dozen or more strangers where you will have little or no privacy.
- If you are chosen to live in the house, it is your responsibility to make any necessary arrangements with your employer and family in anticipation of your extended absence.
- The house is extensively outfitted with video and audio recording devices that will record, broadcast and exhibit your actions and voice at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in every room and space in the house for the duration of your participation in the contest.
- You will be observed at all times by the Producer and the public watching on television, the internet, mobile devices and all other media.
