Salary

The Imole Youth Corps (IYC) salary is ₦20,000 per month.

This was announced by Governor Ademola Adeleke in February 2023.

The salary paid into the bank account of the cadet on a monthly basis is used to cover the cadet’s basic living expenses, such as food, transportation, and clothing.

This provides young people with a source of income, and it also helps to reduce poverty and unemployment in the state.

The cadets who take part in the scheme provide valuable services to the state, such as cleaning public areas, providing security, and teaching in schools.

The salary is a way of showing appreciation for the cadets’ service.
