USAA Scholarship
The USAA scholarship is a fully funded scholarship sponsored by the United Services Automobile Association to provide financial services to the families of the US military men and women who contribute to the safety and security of the nation.
It is an initiative of the government of the United States in partnership with distinct divisions of the military and the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) to support the partners and children of servicemen and servicewomen with a cash award between $1000 and $5000.
The scholarship is 100% free and has basic requirements for one to qualify.

USAA Scholarship Requirements
Here are the eligibility requirements for USAA scholarship:
- A child or spouse of an Air National Guard or Army National Guard member.
- A filled-out application form, an essay, and a personal photograph are required.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
- Be a full-time or part-time college student enrolled in a four-year program or in a two-year vocational program.
- You must not have any criminal record as at the time of the application.
Documents Required
You must include a comprehensive and current transcript of grades.
The submission of grade reports is not permitted.
Transcripts must include the student’s name, school name, grades, and credit hours.
If your official SAT or ACT scores are not available on your high school transcript, you must also upload a copy of your official SAT or ACT scores.
If you don’t send all the required materials digitally, your submission isn’t done.
The non-renewable USAA Scholarship submission deadline is May 2024.
Awards
The student will earn a $2,500 scholarship if chosen as a winner.
A total of 65 awards will be given out.
25 Merit Awards — Awards are given only based on merit.
There is no requirement for the recipient to provide banking details or to substantiate the financial need.
40 Financial Necessity Awards — These awards are given out based on merit and financial need.
Financial information and proof of need must be provided by the recipient.
Awards may be extended for up to three more years or until the completion of a bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first.
Renewal is predicated on maintaining a 2.5 GPA (grade point average) on a 4.0 scale in a full-time course of study and the program’s continuation by USAA.
A one-time, nonrenewable reward of $2,500 will be given to recipients who attend a US military academy.
Note that the awards are only for undergraduate studies.

No applicant will be asked to pay any registration fee to get the USAA scholarship form.
