If you have an OPay account without BVN, there are certain limitations to the amount of money you can deposit into the account.

This is because the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has set a limit on the amount of money that can be held in an account without BVN.

The maximum amount that can be held in an OPay account without BVN is ₦300,000.

Also, the daily transaction limit on the OPay account without BVN is ₦‎50,000.

The reason for this limitation is to prevent fraudulent activities and money laundering.

By restricting the amount of money that can be held in an account without BVN, CBN can reduce the risk of financial crimes.

To add BVN to your OPay account, follow these steps:

  • Open the OPay app and log in to your account.
  • Click on the ‘Me’ icon in the bottom right corner of the app.
  • Click on your profile image at the top of the page.
  • Click on ‘Upgrade’ and enter your BVN.
  • Click on ‘Verify BVN’ and wait for the verification process to complete.
  • Once the verification is successful, start using your OPay account with no limitations.
